Terms of Service

1. Using Scriptbit

By using Scriptbit, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use Scriptbit for an organization, you must have authority to act for it. The service is not directed to children under 13.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for protecting the Google or X account you use to sign in. Provide accurate information and contact us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. Scriptbit may link sign-in methods that return the same verified email address.

3. Your content and permissions

You retain any rights you hold in the content you submit. You give Scriptbit and its processing providers permission to host, copy, process, transform, and deliver that content as needed to provide the features you request. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

You represent that you have all rights, licenses, releases, and consents needed to submit, generate, edit, and use your content. This includes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, and personality rights. You are responsible for your prompts, reference material, generated results, and their publication, distribution, and commercial use.

4. Real people, celebrities, and voices

Do not create, recreate, alter, or clone an identifiable person’s face, likeness, voice, name, or identity without their express permission or another valid legal authorization for your intended use. This applies to celebrities, public figures, creators, private individuals, and people shown in uploaded reference material. Publicly available photos, recordings, social posts, or a person’s fame do not by themselves grant permission.

Obtain and retain the necessary written releases for commercial uses and express consent for voice cloning. Do not falsely imply that a person said something, appeared in your video, used a product, endorsed a brand, or authorized your content. Do not create fake reviews or testimonials presented as real experiences. Label synthetic content where required; a label does not make an otherwise unlawful or unauthorized use permissible.

Scriptbit does not clear rights, verify releases, or grant permission to use anyone’s identity. A tool’s ability to generate content, or a generation completing successfully, is not confirmation that you may lawfully use it.

5. Prohibited use and enforcement

Do not use Scriptbit for unlawful activity, fraud, deceptive impersonation, identity theft, defamation, harassment, exploitation, or infringement of someone else’s rights. Do not submit or generate child sexual abuse material or non-consensual intimate imagery. Do not use synthetic identities to bypass authentication or mislead people about a real person’s actions. Do not bypass access controls, interfere with the service, or evade generation limits or provider safeguards. Follow the applicable terms of the processing providers used by your selected features.

We may reject requests, restrict features, remove content, or suspend or terminate accounts for violations, credible rights complaints, security risks, or legal requirements. Report suspected misuse to hello@scriptbit.com with the relevant details and your contact information. We may request evidence of your rights or consent and preserve or disclose relevant information where lawfully necessary to investigate a complaint or comply with law.

6. AI-generated results

AI-generated content can be inaccurate, unexpected, or similar to content generated for others. Review outputs before publishing or relying on them. Scriptbit does not guarantee originality, accuracy, suitability, non-infringement, or that an output qualifies for intellectual property protection. You are responsible for any disclosures about synthetic media required for your use.

7. Availability and third-party services

Features depend on external hosting, sign-in, and AI services. Processing may fail or take longer than expected, and features, models, limits, or availability may change. We may restrict or suspend access to protect the service, address misuse, or comply with law. Current plans and credit packages appear on our Pricing page and in Billing before purchase. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the paid period; plan changes also take effect at renewal. Monthly credits expire at renewal. Purchased credits do not expire, but require an active plan to use. Credits are reserved before processing; unused reserved credits are released, while processing already performed remains chargeable if a generation fails. Contact hello@scriptbit.com about billing errors or refund requests. Any mandatory rights under applicable law continue to apply.

8. Privacy and ending use

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process information. You can stop using Scriptbit at any time, delete supported library content, delete your account in Account settings, or request assistance at hello@scriptbit.com. Ending use does not remove responsibility for earlier violations or obligations that by their nature survive termination.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service and generated results are provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Scriptbit does not approve or endorse user content and is not responsible for a user’s unauthorized use of a person’s identity, unlawful content, or decisions to publish or distribute results, except where applicable law imposes responsibility.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Scriptbit and its operators, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, or data arising from your use of the service. Our total liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Scriptbit in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or CAD $100.

These exclusions and limits apply only where lawful. They do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any other liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Responsibility for third-party claims

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify Scriptbit and its operators, employees, and contractors against third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal costs arising from your content, your unauthorized use of a person’s likeness or voice, infringement of third-party rights, or your violation of these terms or applicable law. This does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by our own unlawful conduct.

We will give you reasonable notice of a covered claim and cooperate in its handling. A settlement that admits fault or imposes obligations on us requires our written consent. This provision does not override mandatory consumer protections.

11. Changes and contact
